Itinerary description
Very rewarding hike along an old aquaduct built by former slaves for the plantation owners. Wonderful hike trough dense forest right beside the canal. Be careful it can be very slipery. Because we were anchoring in the bay of St. Pierre with our boat, we had to hike back to the dinghi dock. The last section was on the road. We didn't see many cars and the view was breathtaking.
