Itinerary description
A nice hike from Highway 101 west to Potvin Chutes on the Tatachikapika river.The beginning of the hike will take you through black spruce bogs and overgrown trails and roads that are flooded but the bottom end of the road becomes an easy wide and dry trail.You will come to the start of a portage route at the bottom end of the trail and this will lead you on to the chutes. The chutes themselves are a spectacular display of natures beauty. There is a campsite with benches and locations to set up tents if you want to spend a night or two.
