Itinerary description
We were able to catch the shuttle to Logan Pass. Took this trail the the Granite Park Chalet. We went up the Garden Wall to the overview of Grinnel Glacier. From the chalet we took the Loop trail down to the road and picked up another shuttle from there.
A mountain goat walked along the trail right next to us. A marmot was on the trail and didn't seem to notice us at all. There are lots of aggressive flies and mosquitoes along this trail.
Garden wall sign says .6 miles. According to my track, it was about .9 miles and gained about 900 feet. At the time we didn't feel that it was worth it, but we're happy we did it. The chalet has a window where you can buy stuff, but be prepared for very high prices.
On the day we went, there was smoke from wildfires in other states. The pictures show the haze.
