Itinerary description
This 37 km hike is my longest one day hike so far. The trail is not difficult one when it terms of the terrain but this hike is considered as difficult because of its' long hiking duration.
The scenic views were mind blowing through out the trail but after 27 km, I guess you won't be in a position to enjoy the scenery.
Please note that this is a one way hike, so you must arrange the commutation accordingly.
The hike starts at Wadi Lahsah, near Wadi shah. Initial 11 KM of the trail is steep ascend and there are washroom's available at this location, and if anyone want to drop from the hike, they can do so from this point. If we continue the trail it will lead to Puro 1484 restaurant and to jais view deck park.
If you don't have enough water please make sure to buy enough water from PURO and this point is another exit point for those who want to drop from the hike.
From view deck park we continued our hike through newly laid trail towards Jebel Rahabah. Due to the recent rains some part of the trails is damaged. Some of the stairs are covered with loose rocks so please be careful while hike.
Eventhough there is no much elevation after 25 km,we felt it more challenging after 27 KM. From my experience, I would suggest to keep more energy drinks and food supplies in stock to use it after 27 KM, you will be needing more energy here onward in-order to push yourself.
Please don't take this hike lightly because it's not as simple as it look.
Happy Hiking!!!
