Itinerary description
CAT/ENG
Ruta senzilleta per boscos humits de Freixes. Puja i baixa bastant constant amb camí bastant rocós. El terreny es molt humit, molt recomanable xiruques goretex, hi ha força herba humida i fangar.
IMPORTANT: just cap el final del trail s’arriba a la via del tren. Cal tombar a la dreta i seguir per la via fins arribar a una petita estació de fusta.
PROS: Bona distància per un dia tranquilet. Tot plegat es fa en menys de 4h. Molt ben indicada.
CONTRES: el bosc es molt frondos i macu, però la vista es força monòtona. Fas anada i tornada pel mateix lloc.
Easy up/down hill trail crossing mountain ash trees. The path is a bit rocky but OK. It’s pretty humid, I would strongly recommend waterproof shoes.
IMPORTANT: there is a rail trail by the end of the track. Turn right and walk along the trail for over a mile, till the small wooden train station.
PROS: perfect for half a day. The complete trail can be done in 4h go and back. Indications are perfect.
CONS: the forest is so dense that the views are a bit monotonous. Go and back by the same path.
