Itinerary description
A short hike in to a nice set of falls (and back out) in the southern tip of Algonquin Park. You walk by a nice lake and follow a river up to a set of falls (30 feet high?). The path is easy to follow and was in good shape. There is a parking lot at the start point, permits are available down the road. People who park across the street and walk in don't require a permit....
Mature forest typical of southern Algonquin, some small wildlife with a small lake and falls that were joined by a nice river. Easily done in an hour, we enjoyed taking a break from our long car ride.
