Itinerary description

A hike in Green Belt countryside around Totteridge, London N20 with a pub en route. From High Barnet Station take Dollis Valley Greenway via Totteridge and Whetstone station towards Woodside Park.

Go through Woodridge Nature Reserve (Woodland Trust) then take a little-known route on informal paths through Totteridge Croft Field (GPS required) to Darlands Lake, which avoids the low-lying footpath by Folly Brook. Continue through Darlands Lake Nature Reserve passing the Three Hammers pub at Mill Hill. Then via Highwood Hill, Totteridge Fields Nature Reserve and the London Loop back to High Barnet Tube Station.
