Itinerary description
Drive to the upper part of Lentegí by following signs to th "polideportivo". There is plenty of on-street parking near houses and apartment blocks. This route has been hand-drawn but I have walked it as part of longer routes several times, so I know it is ok. Very nice route with great scenery along the way. The "hidden valley" section takes in a marked footpath that goes through the valley of the río Lentegí. You have to cross the river a few times, but it is not difficult to do. There is a natural spring in the "hidden valley" to replenish water bottles if needed. Due to the water in the area, the vegetation is lush and fast-growing, so expect some brambles along the way. To start the walk, go to the upper part of Lentegí and you will be able to park in the road just where the apartment blocks and houses finish.
