Itinerary description
Flat short loop in the Hidden Mesa Open Space that accommodates walkers, runners, mountain bikers and horses. Walk it in less than 1 hour. There are benches throughout the trail to sit. A part of the trail along the southern side skirts around the edge of the mesa, providing views of the canyon below. In this section, the trail also goes through rock outcroppings that provide additional interesting elements to view. The north section of the trail is a large meadow with colonies of Prairie Dogs.
