Itinerary description
Hidden Lake via Powerline
The first half of the hike follows Powerline Pass Trail, which is mostly broad, and easy to manage. After crossing the river bridge the trail becomes steeper, but still manageable for most hikers. You eventually break out above tree line, and will not see the lake until the last couple hundred yards. (Hence the name).
About a mile before the lake, at the stream crossing, there is the option to head directly east toward The Ramp and The Wedge, it adds a few miles but can give really great views down toward ship lake and Indian Valley.
