Itinerary description

Hidden Falls Regional park is administered by Placer County. It has rolling grassland and forest. This park contains Hidden Falls, of course. It also has watercourses with interesting rock pools. This park is designed for multi-use: equestrian, mountain bike, and hiking. See this website for more information:
http://www.placer.ca.gov/Departments/Facility/Parks/hiddenfalls.aspx

This particular trail leads to the new viewing deck for Hidden Falls. As of 4/16/2009, it was still closed while the trail is being finished. It is almost done and should be open soon. Be aware that this trail is a little narrower than many of the trails in this park. Therefore, horses and bicycles are not allowed on this trail.

This is not a stand alone trail. You must take part of the Poppy loop to get to the start of this trail. See
