Fifth stage of the journey carried out in the Julian Alps in Slovenia, in the Triglav National Park.
The journey runs along the main ridge of the national park, from west to east, starting the route at the border between Slovenia, Italy and Austria, ending at the beautiful Lake Bohinj, located in a highly visited glacial valley, ideal for water activities. and, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful in Slovenia.
The complete journey lasted 5 days to cover 80 km and achieve a positive accumulated elevation gain of approximately 6,600 meters. On the journey we will have the possibility of ascending to the peaks of Mala Mojstrovka (via ferrata), Prisank (via ferrata), Bovski Gamsovec (normal route), Triglav (via ferrata), and Kanjavec (normal route).

INFORMATION ABOUT STAGE NUMBER 5
From the Dolicu refuge, we will have to face a short but demanding climb to the top of Kanjavec, which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the nearby Triglav peak and the mountain cirque that encloses the Trenta glacial valley.
Long rest at this wonderful viewpoint, enjoying the Julian Alps, before joining the busy route that runs from Bohinj along the route of the 7 lakes to the Prehodavcih mountain refuge.
Following the track, along a properly marked path, you reach the first lake without any problem, Zeleno, which is more than a lake, it is a small pond, which in this summer season is rather dry.
After abandoning this small disappointment, we will walk along a path under the enormous limestone rock of the Zelnarica range, and its enormous cliffs, until we reach what is, without a doubt, the most beautiful of the lakes on this route, Ledvicah Jezero.
Another long rest in this wonderful environment, refreshing the body in those crystalline and not cold waters, to later return to the path to the Koca pri Troglavski Jezerih shelter. In the vicinity of this refuge we will find several pitches.
Third long rest in this shelter with a fountain outside, before undertaking a long descent through the forest to the last lake on the route, Dvojno Jezero, where the last dip will take place before the ascent to the Planina Visevnik pass.
At this hill, where the old pastoral sheepfolds will catch our attention, the marked path begins that descends to the mountain refuge of Koca na Planini Pri Jezeru, the end of today's stage.
