Itinerary description
My key mistake was that I have decided to listen to my hiking companion and start late. Moreover, the trail ended up being more challenging than anticipated. I haven't reached the ridge as had to wait for too long and hiked very slowly, lessons learnt next time choose hiking partners wisely.
Was extremely cold in the Shukir gorge as now sun light doesn’t get there in late fall or winter times, as sun doesn’t rise high enough.
Absence of sun along with freezing wind made hiking more difficult. At some point saw my companion’s face, which made me to turn around and return back asap.
Spoiler alert: Will ascent that peak and the one next to it the next week
