An interesting trail with a lot of up and down over short length - brings to mind rural heart land of England with villages, wood lands and in particular the public footpaths - a great tradition.
I like the idea of the pictures serving as additional way signs, should be done more and saves constant looks at Garmin!
I newly learnt the word "copse" on your map, "thicket of small trees or bushes, a small wood"!
