Itinerary description
A long day on the GR16 along the Semois river. The day starts with a climb to a few viewpoints overlooking Herbeumont castle the river twisting around it. Most of the trail from arounf Cugnon to the junction to Les Hayons is not very interesting, as its on a forest dirt road and the river is near but unseen. Near Dohan we can see the river again along us and from higher viewpoints. A side trip to Herbeumont castle is highly recommended.
