SW England Road Trip. Day 7
Hensbarrow Beacon 312m, St Austell (Marilyn).
Summary
This was a quarry area near the village of Roche. The access road is actually quite busy with lorries but there is adequate room. Parking was a rough car park at the start point with enough room for about 3-4 vehicles.
Basically head East on an obvious trail. Keep going for about 500m, go up a small hill and viola there is your trig point. The surrounding area of Hensbarrow Down appears to be higher than the TP but this will do.
Parking: Rough car park for 3-4 vehicles.
Route Summary: Easy short track, nothing special.
