Stats: 18 mile, 4800ft. (strenuous)
More Stats: it is 1300 ft. gain from the trailhead to the first junction on Steer Ridge, 1900 ft to the summit of Wilson Peak
Start Time: 8:30 AM
Trailhead: Hunting Hollow, Henry Coe. Take Leavesley Rd Exit off 101 and turn left on New Ave. and right on Roop Rd. Continue all the way to the trailhead on the right.
Carpool: 7:30 at Cottle Rd & H/W 85 (need to allow 1hr. to get to the trailhead)
Description: A strenuous hike in Henry Coe State Park. May require stream crossing (particularly in spring). Bring enough water and food for the day. Heavy rain cancels.
