Itinerary description
Hiking Hengill Mt. including crossing Innstidalur Valley. Going to the summit of Hengill Mt. and returning. It would be a much shorter hike if starting the hike from a parking lot at the Hellisheidarvirkjun Power Plant parking lot and heading up the western ridge of the mountain and excluding the crossing of Innstidalur Valley.
