Itinerary description
The Hell Canyon trail is a 5.3 mile loop with a .3 mile (each way) spur to an overlook. The first .5 mile is a steep climb to the canyon rim where the trail mostly levels off following the canyon rim to the far end before dropping down to return along the valley floor. There are five stream crossings in the last mile, though depending on the time of year there might not be any water involved.
