Itinerary description
1st kilometer is tougher than the rest of the hike. Mostly managed to stay on the trail that I wanted to, though at two points I ended up significantly off trail. Early on, missed a trail marker, and ended up on a logging road. This did not take too much away from the experience as the views were still quite nice. In the upper loop above Konigstuhl, I would not recommend following where I went off the primary trail, and in places doubled back.
