Itinerary description
From Knighton, southwards on the Offa's Dyke Path, as far as Hawthorn Hill, then descending to Whitton and continuing along the B.4356 as far as Pilleth. Return to Knighton via Hendregenny and a footpath to the north-west of the A.488.
Note 1: The slight dog-leg before the descent to Whitton was an unintentional mistake - the correct way is to go through two gates on the right just before the descent.
Note 2: The footpath alongside the A.488 is at present (August 2014) obstructed by weeds and a dilapidated stile.
