Itinerary description

As we arrive very early at the National Park of the Volcanoes, and the Information Center is closed, we continue with the car to get an idea of what we can see, but only a few kilometers away. from the Center, the "Crater Rim" road is cut by volcanic emanations.
You can walk a good part of the Park on this same road, but on the other side
In order to have more information and take advantage of the time while they open the Center, we decided to leave the car in one of the parking lots around the crater of Kilauea and take a short walk following a path with steam exits and then another through the forest until get to the Information Center to find out everything, and then return to the car passing through an area with fumaroles, (the Sulfur Banks Trail) which, as is logical, smelled very bad.
