(en) Honeymoon in Honopu Valley and Honopu Beach on Na Pali Coast. Until the first (here marked) viewpoint most of the trail goes through the forest. Behind this viewpoint you should be more or less free from giddiness. The views are really great. We already returned to the final end of the trail. It continues for a few minutes until a dangerous spine.
So when it is not very long, this trail is challenging. It looks like a fitness course because of fall trees. If wet, the underground can be slippery as soap (so do not do it on rainy days). The right way because it is not clear - later on the right way is easy to find. Because of the ferns it is a good idea to wear long pants. Hiking sticks can be helpful, but sometimes they are cumbersomely. Take a lot of water with you.
(en) Hike to viewpoints in the Honopu Valley and Honopu Beach and continue to viewpoints over much of the Na Pali Coast. To the first (here marked) vantage point you go almost exclusively through the forest. For the further way one should be reasonably free from giddiness. The prospects are indescribable and worth the effort in any case. The trail continues a little further than we left. He probably ends up on a dangerous ridge, which one should rather not commit. Although not very long, this hike is quite exhausting. The middle part of the way is like a fitness course. Again and again you have to climb over fallen trees or crawl under them. The sometimes steep slope is noticeable. In damp places, the path is sometimes smooth as soft soap (therefore not recommended in rainy weather). In the beginning we had problems to find the right trail, because there are some branches and little clear marks. In the further course, however, he can not be missed anymore.
For this hike you should wear long pants. The thicket to the left and right of the narrow path is very scratchy. Trekking poles can be helpful, but because of the thicket sometimes obstructive. Take a lot of water.
