Itinerary description

From the Haut de Caux, follow the train tracks up and towards Rochers de Naye.
The last part before Sautodoz was frozen when we hiked it end November. Going up was slightly dangerous, but I would strongly suggest not going down this path when conditions are not ideal.
At Rochers de Naye, the path turns right immediately, if you want to go to the restaurant or viewpoint, you should turn left first and come back.
In front of the Jardin botanique, turn sharp left and go down. Again, in our case, this part was frozen and we had to find an alternative a bit further down (on the other side of the train track), which was less difficult.
After turning around the rock, you're back on the sunny side and go down past a refuge towards Col de Chaude. There, either go down steeply to the road and to Villeneuve through the valley, or like we did go on the road up left and into the forest. A bit up and down, crossing some creeks, in our case a lot of frozen patches again until Auféru. We had to go down to the valley after Auféry, as the hanging bridge closes on 15 november... Otherwise, you could continue on that path until Villeneuve.

Moderate only for the frozen conditions in November, otherwise an easy walk.
