Itinerary description
This walks takes the official Nichols Lake path first, starting from the Sunrise Park inter-faith Cemetery.
It is aloud to park at the Cemetery if we keep quiet and be respectful while in the premise.
The first part of the path is easy-moderate and amazing. It goes through all kind of forests, from very deep and closed to swampy.
This brings to the river and waterfall. From there, I highly recommend taking the ~400-500 m walk to go to the lake, even tough this part is a bit difficult with lots of roots. It is worth the view.
For moderate, or actually most, poeple, going back from there is the best option. This path goes through a very rough path that follows the lake, which is not clear at all per part, partially blocked by trunks or water holes. It is however a beautiful walk.
After a while, you end up going on the Prospect road Community Trail which is a large trail of rocks.
From there, you go back to the road, and go to a small hidden trail hidden behind a baseball court. This trail is in a dense forest but is easy to follow, all the way back to the Cemetery.
