Itinerary description
This hike will take you out and around a very nice area off Hatbill Road. The area was beautiful the day I went out there. There are a couple of "caches" out there which actually is what brought me to the area. Once I was there, I was very impressed with what I saw. You do have to cross (wade) a small stream in order to get into the area from this parking spot. You could bike it or approach the area from other directions, mainly the Salt Lake Area. There is supinely an Indian mound down near the cache locations. Remnants of a old orchard can also be found in the cache area. There where signs of hunters in the area, so be aware of the hunting schedules and wear bright clothes. Remember "take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints".
