Itinerary description

The most popular way to Harney Peak is from the Sylvan Lake trailhead, but a short drive to the Little Devil's Tower trailhead let's you visit both summits for the same hiking distance. There is also a new connector trail (see waypoints) that leds a meger .1 miles to an intersection with the Cathedral Spires trail allowing you to actually visit all three areas from one trailhead.

This trail comes in from the Willow Creek trailhead. It's one mile longer with an extra 1000' of elevation gain (each way) but is less traveled for obvious reasons.

Not as popular as the Sylvan Lake trial, but the scenery is much better. If you're going to Harney Peak, definitely take this route.
