Itinerary description
Hardîne - Batroun.
Hardin is the first village to know Christianity in the Mount of Lebanon with over 30 old monasteries, churches and hermitages. We started this short trail from Hardin’s unique big rocky tile embedded with fossils. We hiked uphill reaching an altitude of 1700 m above sea level where we enjoyed the breathtaking views from the Phoenician temple: the temple of God Mercury.
