Itinerary description
If you followed my trail and my details provided have been helpful for you in your hiking journey, kindly leave a review on this post.
It helps other hikers and it will build a better hiking community. Thank you.
Haqeel Village hike using end segments of HL21 & HL22 trails.
One Way hike, so it will need vehicle logistics plan to park vehicles at start and end points.
Highlander Event created one of the best Trail that covers almost 50 Kms and it is the best. The trail is well laid and manmade stairs in many places keeps your foot stable. Good job Highlander !!
Thank you !!!

We, a few friends one way hike from Haqeel Valley till jebel Jais road by utilising the Highlander trails of 2021 and 2022 end point segments.
We parked here, Sedans with good clearance can navigate easily.

You can follow this offroad trail to reach the start point.

The Ascent is immediate, vertical and steep. But it is very safe too, as the trail is well laid and stairs are built in places.
Once on the 1st hike to the first small Haqeel annexure village, we exited the trail. We hiked up to the solo house on the mountain top and took a break there.
Then we descended towards the HL2022 trail and then walked on the HL trail all the way down till the end.
Overall, it was a good endurance hike for summer short hikes that gave is 7 Kms and 500 meters of elevation gain.
We were well prepared with hydration, first aid, fitness and nutrition and mainly timekeeping.
Summer hikes need best of physical fitness, knowledge of the hiking area, previous serious hiking experience, proper hike plan, full preparation and carrying all essentials in the backpack.
Do Not Try Any Mountain Hikes If You Do Not Understand The Mountain Terrains, Dangers From Wildlife, First Aid, Hydration And Snacks, Your Own Fitness, Remote Activity Preparations, Communication Tools, Mountain Geography, Topography, Risk Factors, HSE Requirements, Hiking Risks, Fitness Level Of The Group Members.
Study All Above Matters Well Before Following Any Trails That You Find Online. Please Do Not Over Estimate Yourself.
Better Be Safe Than Put Yourself / Group In Danger And Regret Later.
Lately We Have Seen A Lot Of Unwanted Hiking Incidents That Could Have Been Avoided With Better Preparation.
Wish You All The Best.
