Itinerary description
mghiteh plateau is a relatively flat high land plateau located above the villages of hammana and falougha and where the qaysamani bridge was built.
we parked practically directly of the damascus highway aftet mdeirej area.
we started our hike inside the small reserve of hammana where a small cedars forest was planted, and started the hike on clear and clean trails inside it, the view in amazing over hamana , falougha and all matn el aala area and the falougha cedar forest on the other side, we reached the mghiteh plateau and started our loop there visiting qaysamani dam, old trenches that were used during world war 2 as a hospital, and went back to the forest by another way.
very beautiful easy and high land trail, can be done in families and by anyone, with very nice views.
