Itinerary description
Start in the hiking portal Wanderparkplatz Weifetal just west from Hallenberg, at the road direction Bad Berleburg.
Enchanting, pleasant hike along the Weife creek and through a forest with mixed deciduous threes. Passing the Weifequelle, walking through a wetland vegetation heading to Jochemskopf. Following a panoramic, sunny path with spruce trees (spar) and fox gloves (vingerhoedskruid). From Wallershöhe in the direction of Gaulskopfkreuz and then to a junction where you can opt for the panoramic path hence and back to Heidkopf, or go back to the parking lot,. Visiting Heidkopf takes roughly 1 hour extra. There is a high wooden tower that offers views over Sauerland and Hessen. Back to the junction and walking on the other side of the Weife creek through the forest back to the parking lot. Many benches as well as small creeks and flowers along this trail, well indicated, and very quiet. Top tour.
