Itinerary description
Hike from Hadrin to Had Yuan on Phangan island. It is a short, but real jungle walk so good shoes, mosquito repellent and plenty of water are a must. long sleeve pants are also recommended.
You can also visit the adjoining Had Thian if you start early. There are boats available at both beaches to ferry you back to Hadrin

Nice, but hassle to get a boat to make it a roundtrip
In June 2012 my partner and I wanted to go party at Eden on Had Yuan. We (stupidly) decided to try and trek there around 4:30PM after being told the path was very easy to get lost on! We followed the path for about 45 mins and then it just disappeared. We went backwards to try work out where we may have missed a turn or something. Anyway we decided to just press on in the general direction we needed to go. It started getting dark and a full monsoon rainstorm ensued while we were clambering over rocks, drenched in water in pitch black besides the one torch we had between the 2 of us. We made it out after about 3 hours of frantic climbing and partied all night at Eden.
