Itinerary description
Description: This is the second part of a day walk from the Hacking River to Waterfall. This part covers the track from Helensburgh to Waterfall.
The track first crosses from one side of H.burgh to the other, then follows two trails onto Waterfall. In contrast to the track up from the Hacking River this section was a slog.
I suggest future walkers do the track in the opposite direction: starting at Waterfall in the morning and finishing at the Hacking River in the afternoon.
