Itinerary description
Description: Were it not for the need to Ford the Hacking River this walk would be graded “easy”. The walk starts at the Hacking River and finishes on the outskirts of Helensburgh. This walk is very pretty nearest to Hacking River. It is almost a rainforest in the valley of the Hacking River. Finally the walk ascends to a ridge and you follow it through the fence of the old tip, across the tip to another fence and then out onto a sealed road.
