Visit to one of the most beautiful and touristic caves in Hạ Long Bay, the Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave. From the outside, a spectacular place!
START:
We arrived at the access dock on the mountain where the cave is located and began the short walk to Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave.
DESCRIPTION:
The entrance is located at the top and it is necessary to access it along several steps, without any complications. Everyone behind our Bingo guide.
After overcoming the aforementioned steps, we arrive at one of the most beautiful and typical viewpoints of Hạ Long Bay. The views are spectacular and we do not hesitate to take a few minutes to enjoy the panoramic views we have before entering the cave.
After enjoying the views and taking a few photos, we entered Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, always following Bingo, who stopped to explain some interesting facts about the cave to us.
Already inside Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, we quickly realize the magnitude of the cave. Spacious and quite diaphanous!
We begin its main tour, which will guide us through several rooms. Columns, stalactites and stalagmites. The rest of the excursions had a guide who explained what they could see. Ours, Bingo, very few and few in words, was waiting for us at the exit, while we made the complete tour on our own. A very nice cave!
After completing the tour of Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, we leave it, arriving at a type of walkway. New views and a small stretch to travel until we reach the dock where the boat would pick us up.
In a few minutes, after descending from the cave and returning along the walkway, we reached another pier.
Finally, we took our boat again, ending this small route.
CONCLUSION:
One of the essential visits in Hạ Long Bay! Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave is a beautiful cave that deserves all the attention. It's a shame that our guide barely offered us any knowledge about it. Even so, we really enjoyed its rooms and geological forms. From the outside, the height offers sublime views!
