Itinerary description
This route will take you from the Korea Testing/Research Institute all the way to Sadang station. You will take the subway to the Gwacheon Government Complex Station and go out of exit 7. You can walk across the big field and follow the main street to the entrance of the trail.
It is an all day hike with some pretty steep sections that may be impassible during the winter. I labeled the hike as difficult because of the length and steep grade in certain sections. Once you reach Gwaneum Rock (관음바위), you will follow a ridge line all the way to the peak of Gwanaksan. After that, you can make your decent all the way to Sadang Station. With plenty of stops for pictures, enjoying the scenery and lunch, it took a total of roughly 7 hours. All in all a great hike.
