Itinerary description
The Nagoonberry Loop trail takes you through the woods, wildflower meadows and out to the beach front in Gustavus, Alaska. It loops back to the start where it connects to Gustavus Road. It is on Nature Conservancy land. You may see bears, moose, eagles, ravens, coyote, wolf, wildflowers, wild strawberries and wild nagoonberries at different times of the year. It takes about an hour to walk the flat level trail. The trail was developed in 2009 and is a wide gravel walk. Pick up a wildlife viewing guide of Gustavus for more information.
