Trail Head Information:
🚩 Located at Tambunan, Sabah
🚩 Level of Difficulty: Hard 7/10
🚩 Start and ended at same Trail Head
🚩 3rd & 5th highest mountain in Malaysia [G3 & G5]
🚩 Out and back hiking 3D2N about 28 KM

Note:
✴️ A standard 3D2N hike and camp trip
✴️ Not for beginner. Must be physically and mentally strong to complete the trail.
✴️ Carrying load about 12 KG daily. Mountain hut available for overnight, no need to bring tent
✴️ Base camp weather very very cold. Bring extra layers.
✴️ At Erick Base Camp, kitchen available for cooking. Pot, gas stove, utensils all available.

Initerary:
🔹A day before....
Transfer by van departed from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) to Balai Raya Kampung Nupakan located at Kaingaran, Tambunan. Overnight here.
Driving distance from KK Town to here took 2.5 hours.
Take our lunch at Tambunan town and tapao for dinner. Few eatery shops available include chinese food, muslim food and KFC. Surprisingly tealive also available here
Can dropby here for last shopping before going to Balai Raya. Nothing is avaialble at Balai Raya

🔹 Day 01: Friday, 24 March 2023 🔹
Trail Head to Erick Base Camp
4WD from Balai Raya ➡️ Trail head ➡️ Last Water Point ➡️ Erick Base Camp 🏕️
◾ Start from Balai Raya Kg. Nupakan to trail head by 4WD. 6KM distance about 20-25 minutes
◽From here to Erick Base Camp, distance 14.2 KM for 4-6 hours depends on speed. Will reach before 1700 hrs
◾ All the way up until base camp. After passby a lake, enjoy mossy forest from here onward
◽ Toilet available for shower but water very cold. Weather freezing cold at night, please bring extra layers and thick sleeping bag. And not forget sleeping pad too.

🔹Day 02: Saturday, 25 March 2023 🔹
Base Camp to Mt. Sinsing ➡️ Mt. Kaingaran ➡️ Mt. Sinsing ➡️ Base Camp 🏕️
◾ Start hiking at 0430 hrs. It took about 1-2 hours to reach Mt. Sinsing Peak.
◽ And another 2-4 hrs to Mt. Kaingaran Summit
◾Return trip from Mt. Kaingaran Summit to Base Camp very tiring. If can reach early to have more time for rest.
◽ Overnight at Erick Base Camp for another night
Highlight: Mt. Sinsing & Mt. Kaingaran

🔹Day 03: Monday, 26 March 2023 🔹
Erick Base Camp to Trail Head
Base Camp ➡️ Pond ➡️ Last Water Point ➡️ ➡️ Trail Head ➡️ 4WD to Balai Raya
◾ After breakfast start moving back to trail head. Then tranferred by 4WD to Balai Raya
◽ Normally it took about 3-5 hours to reach trail head. 4WD for another 25 minutes
◾Take shower at Balai Raya and packing. Tranferred by van back to Kota Kinabalu town.

🔹The day after....
Overnight at Kota Kinabalu town. Next day take evening flighr flew back from KK International Airport to Penang. Trip end.
