Itinerary description
Gunung Chamah - one of the G7 mountains of West Malaysia. we have to take 4 wheel drive through very bad roads to the trail head. Actually we can see that the first part of the trail to POS Rekom which is the main camping area is actually formally part of the same 4 wheel drive track as well but over the years this has eroded making it impassable to drive. Hence we need to hike to Pos Rekom camp which is actually an orang asli settlement area. However we arrive very early at this camp so we push on to the next Kem Padma and still early we push on to the next camp Kem Tengah. here the river water is extremely clear compared to Pos Rekom and I would highly recommend all future hikers to camp here instead of Pos Rekom which is where most hikers camp. Your second day hiking to the peak will be very much easier if you camp at Kem Tengah. This trail uploaded is for one way only.
