Itinerary description
This track starts from a road besides the farm which is the proper trail head. However if you were to follow our track here you will need to go into the farm (see picture of gate attached), just walk straight in till the NO ENTRY sign on a gate and after crossing this gate for about 10 feet on your right hand side you will see a small trail - just go up this trail and you will end up on the road and effectively cutting off quite a long distance of walking on the abandoned road. Just remember to close back the gate for the farm after you have opened it to enter. From here you will be tracking approximately for one hour at moderate speed along the abandoned road which at times the jungle has creep onto except for the hiking trail. Then at the end of this road you will be actually doing real hiking in the jungle till you reach the peak. When we went up the haze was terrible hence we couldn't have much of a view. The 'rock garden' as some hikers called it seems to be the most beautiful part of this hike and here having a cuppa of hot coffee ... taste good ! The gpx track here is for one way only.
