Short stage in which we made contact for the first time with the sea, or rather, with a fjord, the expected Trondheim fjord. We leave our accommodation in Skaun and following the directions of our hosts, we connect with the road signs just one kilometer later. At the crossing of tracks we are presented with a double signaling. Going back something we take the sign that leads us to Husaby, which are nothing more than a ruin of an old farm where we find the remains of the foundations of the early church of Skaun that goes back to 1040. Attention, because just past the ruins you have to take the track uphill although we do not find signs, instead of the track that descends. We must bear in mind that the tendency of the first half of the stage, the first 8 kilometers, is of gentle rise. The track that we take to the right in ascent after Husaby, we will leave it in the pk 3,7 to the left to enter the forest until in the pk 4,9 we go out again to another one, that to the little one fades to return to make us enter the forest. We pass through the places of Gammelsaetra and Kolmile until we reach the Djupalsbekken torrent that passes through a modest wooden bridge. A short section of track and we reached the last hill of the day that is presented to the right. First we will pass by a table with a bench under a tree with a nice panoramic view and then we will finish the highest point of today's stage, the Negarsbakkan (380 m). From there, everything is down to Buvika Bay and the first view we have of the Trondheim Fjord. On pk 10.4 we find the detour to the possible accommodation of Kleivan. We will go to a road and arrive at the urbanization of Ilhaugen, from there we already have beautiful views of the bay and the fjord. Something later we go back into a stretch of forest and Buvika road and the bay, parallel to the Hammerbakke stream, where we can take a break at another table with benches in the shade. On pk 12.7 we finish the descent definitively to reach the Buvika fjord bay where we follow the path that borders it. After the bridge towards the p13 13,8 if we continue up to the right we can visit the church of the municipality. We continue along the promenade until at pk 14.8 the road takes us to the right uphill. However, if we prefer the road to the climb and a nice wooded stretch, we can continue to avoid the detour arriving in less time to our accommodation today, the Øysand Camping. We pay attention to the signs to go up first by roads between the urbanization and then to enter a leafy forest where we will gradually go down until arriving at what looks like a private property where we find a mailbox of the Kommune of Skaun, and a few meters Then we arrive at Øysand Camping, where we will spend the night before our last stage towards our desired goal, the Nidaros Cathedral. In addition to the campsite where we stayed, a classic end of stage preferred by many, yes, if you can reserve a place, is the farm of Sundet Gard, which is about 2 km later. This place presents the singularity of being on the other side of the Gaula River, and in order to cross it, it is the farm's own host who is in charge of passing the pilgrims from one side of the river to the other.
