Itinerary description
Amazing trek through the jungle. Beautiful scenery and real « hardcore » jungle hike.
The beginning of the trail was pretty straight forward with a few signs to show the way. As we got further into the jungle, things got pretty hard, it was very difficult to follow the trail as it obviously isn’t a well known route. There were loads of fallen trees and new growth everywhere making it extremely hard to stay on track. The odd rope on to climb the waterfalls let us know we were on the right track.
It took us about 4 hours (from the start point to the finish point) with two women that weren’t used to hiking and didn’t find it fun atall. I could of probably done it in about 2,5-3 hours by myself.
I highly recommend this hike but it’s not for the faint hearted. It’s a real jungle adventure.
