Itinerary description
This trail is not for everyone. It is a heart pumping and physical trail, specially at the beginning and the end on each side of the mountain. Double the distance of the track as you will have to return the same way. I also had a few set backs at the end, trying to find a better way to climb down the hill. First part is the trickiest as you have to climb the side of a steep hill to access the higher, flatter grounds. Luckily is not too long until you reach an easier area which connects to a clear trail heavily use by guanacos. The last section of the trail would be on a less visible track, as there is a lot more grassy areas and bog overgrowing the guanaco path. Then there is a steep hill down towards the beaver damps and lagoons, which are directly next to the face of the taller mountain ahead. Make sure you have the track downloaded, as the return looks a bit confusing due the multiple guanaco trails which might take you somewhere else! You might encounter guanacos, as they use the trail to move around. Enjoy it!
