Itinerary description

Flat Creek Trail is a short and easy 2.6 mile one-way walk off of Round Bottom Road. This section of Round Bottom Road is still two-way, becoming a one-way road at the top trailhead for Flat Creek.

We did this trail as the part of a two-day "leap frog" trip along Round Bottom Road, to avoid (what for us is) a long trip down the one-way section of that road. The trails we covered during this leap-frog were:

1/4 - Flat Creek Trail - https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/gsnmp20-flat-creek-trail-round-bottom-road-1-4-67069979

2/4 - Spruce Mountain Trail - https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/gsnmp20-spruce-mountain-trail-round-bottom-road-2-4-67069975

3/4 - Hyatt Ridge to Campsite 47 - https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/gsnmp20-hyatt-ridge-to-campsite-47-round-bottom-road-3-4-67069968

4/4 - Campsite 47 to Beech Gap - https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/gsnmp20-enloe-creek-to-beech-gap-round-bottom-road-4-4-67069961
