Itinerary description
This was done as Day Two of a leaf-frog trip up Round Bottom Road. Starting at Campsite 37, we followed Enloe Creek to Hyatt Ridge Trail. We did the moderate climb to Campsite 44, and then returned down Beech Gap Trail to Straight Fork Road.
The one-way Round Bottom Road turns back into the two-way road at Straight Fork Road at the Beech Gap trailhead, allowing this hike to be done from the Cherokee side of the park as well. But we did it as the part of a two-day "leap-frog" trip from Round Bottom Road, to avoid (what for us is) a long drive down the one-way section of that road.
