Itinerary description
Gryka e Kazanit is the name of the gorge that lies on the foot of the dramatic wall of Nemercka . It is one of the most beautiful hikes in Vjosa valley. It reaches the foot of Nemercka wall and after that walks on border ridge with breathtaking views towards the mountains of Greece and Nemercka. At the foot of Nemercka wall is a huge meadow and there are shepherds during the summer time.
The ascent was surprisingly gentle and the trail finding is not a problem.

Good shot!
There always seem to be more fruits than people can use. https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/gryka-e-kazanit-the-best-view-of-nemercka-3397647/photo-1494624
So we need to be careful when stepping on the summit in Winter, when cornices are likely to hang over the abyss... ;) https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/gryka-e-kazanit-the-best-view-of-nemercka-3397647/photo-1494637
Yes, it looks dangerous. Good we didn't try to see what's in the other side...:) https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/gryka-e-kazanit-the-best-view-of-nemercka-3397647/photo-1494637
Thanks! There was a lot of plumps in this hike and seems nobody use them. I ate a lot - very tasty. https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/gryka-e-kazanit-the-best-view-of-nemercka-3397647/photo-1494624
This really looks like a must-do. Can't wait for next spring!

We did the hike yesterday and it might need some updating 😅 after ten years about 2-3 km are completely overgrown between the first two milestones by flowers, poison ivy and weeds that were 1,5m high. The views are still spectacular, however our final navigation set it at around 18,5km not 16km. Took a bit longer then anticipated, one should calculate 9 to 10 hours.
