Itinerary description
English (castellano debajo);
There is only one difficult part and that is why it is marked as difficult, the rest is very affordable.
We start from the Gross Mont car park (Haut du Mont), free parking. There are enough parking spaces so there shouldn't be any problem even arriving late.
From there it is a fairly flat walk to Le Sori where you take the detour to the right and begin to climb. Until Les Marrindes everything is uphill and although it is done very well on the mountain path, things are starting to get tiring. We decided not to take the blue slopes and therefore continue towards Salle des Morteys. Once at the top with spectacular views in all directions, the problems began.
And it is as simple as the way is no longer very well indicated. After starting the descent with a lot of vegetation and without really knowing where the path was, it literally disappeared and I had to reach for the ground and continue going down a little through as best I could. We spent almost an hour to descend. Once we got back to the main path we tried to see where we had left the supposed path but it was impossible..
From there there was still half the route left, and a couple of very important climbs. It is true that the path is not very well indicated in this second part, but following a map you can orient yourself quite well. With this we got confused a couple of times although a few meters that we had to undo.
I don't know if it's due to all the heat it's been doing, but many of the fountains were without water, so during some stretch some water was missing.
Already in the last detour, you enter the forest and parts are alternated by the road and parts by path, but it is a good climb to finish. Shortly before returning to the car park you will come across a beautiful waterfall.
Castellano:
