Itinerary description
This hike starts at the Fontein Guest Farm in Gamkaskloof. It is managed by Cape Nature, but this trail is currently (2023-12-21) in a very poor condition as Cape Nature is closed and does not maintain this trail at all. Once you have find the trail head of the Grootkloof hiking trail, it is easy to follow a faint trail that passes through ancient ruins and beautiful views of the Gamkaskloof.
