Itinerary description
This track is Day 2 of 4 of a self navigated and self-sufficient 4 Day Hike through the Groot Winterhoek Wilderness Area.
This track starts at the Low Water Bridge of the reserve near De Tronk and goes to Perdevlei Hut and then back tracks to a spot where we Wild Camped, as there was nothing at Perdevlei to warrant staying there. We wild camped in our tent along the trail, about 50 metres from a water source.
This trail is difficult and no mobile phone reception is available anywhere at time of hiking. The trail is extremely remote, yet incredibly beautiful and technical underfoot.
