Itinerary description

For this pleasant circular walk, suitable for all seasons, start at the parking area in front of Restaurant Campman located along Hartenseweg. This is also where you can find a display with a signposted walk.

This walk takes you roaming through a beautiful green area, including a short detour to the water of the Rhine river. We went there shortly after a period of extremely high waters, a spectacular sight, see the images.

Biggest surprise was the sighting of an owl in a tree on the edge of the green valley opposite Renkum, at the end of the duckboards. Always difficult to spot but due to other walkers we were drawn to the tree where it was resting on a branch high up.
